I was transferred to Best Friends awhile ago when my vet quit her practice here. Since then i have become more and more unhappy with their services. They apparently only care about 1 thing - money! Once my chihuahua got hurt and I didn’t know what was wrong. She had misplaced or maybe even broke a rib. Because I could not afford X-rays the vet did a full body exam and decided my dog had not gotten up, ate or drank, for the last 5 days because she had arthritis. My sister, who studied to be a vet tech, came over and picked her up and instantly noticed her rib not where it should be. There is no way that vet felt her up and down and could not feel that. I was beside myself when I was charged $100 for a bull diagnosis. Another time, my husband was out of work and asked them to do me a favor and let me pay for my dogs allergy shot half one week and the rest a week later, while still being able to not have to wait for the shot. (He was overdue & miserable) Now they require that I pay half up front and then the rest at time of service in order to schedule an appointment. As if I’m untrustworthy now and attempted to not pay them or something. They could have said no to the favor. Clearly it’s all about the money!!

I moved my 3 pets' care to Best Friends after another facility that I had been with for years treated me poorly. Best Friends staff from front dest to tech to the vets have been nothing short of fantastic, and it's evident they genuinely care. They call and check in too see how my fur kids are doing and are very responsive. The cost is reasonable and overall my experience every visit has been phenomenal.
